The upward flow stirrer mixes without
introducing air. The unique, continuousshearing
and blending action occurs entirely
below the solution’s surface, creating a thorough
mixing action without foaming or
splashing. Even at high speeds in nearly full
containers, there is minimal surface disturbance.
The upward flow stirrer may be used
effectively in many procedures. It may be
used with pharmaceuticals, cosmetics,
paints, inks, petroleum, and foods. It is also
useful in stirring hot and cold solutions in
small or large volumes. It can provide rapid
disbursement or re-suspension of heat-sensitive
substances, proteins, oils, or food
essences. It also emulsifies liquids of
different densities, dissolves low-soluble
solids, and resuspends bacteria into
solution. Operation in open containers of all
sizes is possible.
All wetted parts are made of corrosionresistant
